Why you benefit from edible sunblock

Really?! Many people always ask me, why on Earth would you want to wear edible sunblock? There's no way it actually works, does it? and is it even safe?
The answers I usually give them leave them nodding their heads and having the aha moment about what they put on their skin.
To start, there are 2 major types of Sunscreens/Sunblocks according to the FDA. Chemical sunscreens use chemicals such as Oxybenzone to chemically alter your skin to resist burns from UV radiation. The effects on your skin are not highlighted, however, and are seen as harmful with new research. The other type is mineral, which uses Zinc oxide or titanium dioxide to reflect UV and not to absorb and alter your skin.
Mineral sunblock is the better option, but corporations tend to include numerous inactive, unnecessary chemicals that make it difficult to know what lasting effects they may have. This was my inspiration for creating Rhode Block.
Rhode Block is made with edible quality materials because if you can't eat it, you shouldn't let it absorb into your body via your skin. Rhode Block is made with 25% Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, Grass-Fed Beef Tallow, Organic Coconut Oil, and Beeswax. The blend of ingredients has the perfect amount to absorb and hold onto the skin for a long-lasting effect. The Zinc mineral provides lasting protection from the sun.
With materials of high enough quality to eat, our customers can be sure they are only putting quality natural ingredients on their skin.
Rhode Block does not endorse nor encourage the consumption of large quantities of Rhode Block as food, the ingredients only are food-grade
